Writing the Green Spirit
Writing the Green Spirit Friday 13th June - Sunday 15th June 2008
This writing retreat will focus on deepening our connections with the natural world, ourselves and each other. There will be workshops based on the poetry and story of the earth in which we will read and share literary sources and then write in response. The sessions are designed to be enjoyable for all. The emphasis is on process, spontaneity and a deep writing practice. New writers will be encouraged to find their own voice and experienced writers will come away with much new draft material. No previous experience of writing is required, only a willingness to experiment. The weekend will begin with supper on the Friday night and finish after lunch on Sunday. Vegetarian food will be provided. Accommodation is in the beautiful and unusual Cae Mabon retreat centre (see Cae Mabon ). Participants bring their own bedding (sleeping bags or duvet), towels and torches. If anyone has any particular access or other requirements, please get in touch.
